On Saturday 5th November Caring Together held its annual Party at the Jubilee Club in Woodhouse. The afternoon was a great success. Once again our fantastic volunteers pulled out all of the stops in preparing the food, setting up the room and providing refreshments. A big thanks to them. Our local member of parliament, Hilary Benn attended and spoke, as did The Lord Mayor Gerry Harper, both patrons of Caring Together. The music, as for the past number of years, was provided by Horizon. The First Aiders on the day were volunteers student nurses from Leeds Beckett University, many thanks to them for this. Thanks is also due to Councillor Christine Towler who secured MICE money towards the event and to Tesco express on Burley Road for helping out with food for the party.
