'The Silver Friends is a fantatsic group, which takes place on a Friday at Quarry Mount Primary School. It includes members of Caring Together and pupils from the school. The group is designed to raise self esteem and confidence of the adults and children alike. Through memories, experience and laughter the group tackle games, projects and the arts; closing the gap between generations'.

Part of the Stephen Lawrence Standard two of our members were invited to talk to the school children about their migration to the UK, life before moving to the UK and now.
We also held an event in celebration of Older Person's Day in their studio on the 6th October 2011
