Volunteers Week (1st - 7th June) is a national celebration that recognises the contribution of millions of volunteers make across the UK. Voluntary Action Leeds organised a night of ten pin bowling on Tuesday 7th June 2011 at Kirkstall. Volunteers from Caring Together and other organisations from across the city attended.
You can see from the photos everyone really enjoyed the evening. Caring Together volunteers were split across three teams, one of which won the tin pin bowling and the quiz! One of our volunteers also won a prize for the most strikes!! Three others won prizes for the lowest scores. I think our talented volunteers covered all bases, from lowest to highest; didn't we do well.
Many thanks to everyone who attended and to Voluntary Action Leeds for such a wonderful evening. The winning team are looking forward to defending their crown next year.
