A family fun day in the woods, focused around the old bandstand on Woodhouse Ridge. Bike powered music, performance arts, community choir, real ale bar, local history walks, kids activities, bike doctor and tasty food! Opened at 1pm by Councillor Christine Towler.

Free Canal Boat Trips in Kirkstall and Armley  – Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd July

Every 20 minutes between 10.30am and 4pm, no booking required.

Celebrating Leeds & Liverpool Canal’s 200 birthday, specially decorated boats will be sailing from Armley Mills Industrial Museum on Saturday and Hollybush Farm on Sunday.  One of the boats is fully accessible and has a ramp and a lift

St Gemma’s Summer Fair & Garden Party – Sunday 3rd July 12-4pm

At St Gemma’s Hospice 329 Harrogate Road Moortown, a fantastic day packed full of entertainment, crafts, stalls , games, food and an appearance by Gemma the Giraffe!  Entry is by donation

Talking Statues in Leeds City Centre

Ever wondered what the statues would say if they could talk? Well this weekend 10 of the statues in Leeds City Centre can do just that.  This includes The Black Prince in City Square and one of the Town Hall Lions.  You’ll need a smartphone swipe a plaque near the statue or enter a code and the statue will call you!
