Wonderful Wednesday Walkers

Our walking group were out and about this morning for the first Caring Together walk of 2015. A walk from St Chad’s Church to Kirkstall Abbey was enjoyed by our group, out in the (almost) spring weather, meeting friends, keeping active and finishing at the Abbey cafe for coffee and cake.

Spring is in the Air at the Caring Together Allottment

We were very pleased recently to receive 50 winter warmth pack s from Leeds City Council (Office of the Director of Public Health).  These packs contain items to help keep warm, including a fleece blanket, hot water bottle, insulated mug, socks, gloves and some useful information – all contained in a very handy bag!
