Oblong are running a new Head Space course, specially for Caring Together.
What is Head Space? A programme of seven weekly sessions that will help you to deal with the tough times in life that happen to us all. Learn techniques for relaxation, coping with stress and positive thinking. Find your strengths, meet new people and get new perspectives.
What will you get out of it? People who have gone on Head Space before have found it useful for increasing their confidence and finding new direction in life. It has helped some people to find employment or training, others have found better ways of dealing with difficulties with family or friends and others have started new hobbies, social activities or exercise.
It starts on Thursday 7th May, at 2.00pm, Woodhouse Community Centre. If you would like to know more, call Lisa on 0113 2430298 or email lisa@caringtogether.org.uk

Now that Spring finally seems to be here, the Caring Together Walking Group will resume. They have planned some very nice walks for the next couple of months, starting with a walk from St Chad’s Church to Kirkstall Abbey on Wednesday 18th March. Other walks planned include: a canal side walk from Rodley to Kirkstall, Roundhay Park, Woodhouse to Meanwood Park, Cragg Farm – Horsforth and a riverside walk in Ilkley.
David, Caring Together Walker, models the latest bag accessory for the discerning walker…also available in red or black….
