Well it is now all over and we are having a well earned cup of coffee!!

Apart from some issues with transport, our 2015 AGM went really well.  Attended by the Lord Mayor and Hilary Benn MP and lots of our members and volunteers, we spoke about the last year at Caring Together, presented the Annual Report and Accounts and showed our 20th birthday film.

It was also the occasion of the first Caring Together monthly prize draw. Drawn by Hilary Benn MP, with his usual panache, we had 3 winners, winning £14 and 2 prizes of £6.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped on the day and to all those who turned up to support us

Today’s the day! Caring Together AGM

Not just…”a stroll in the park”

SAM_2034Last Saturday, 5th September, saw nearly 30 members, staff and supporters taking part in the annual Caring Together sponsored stroll. A very pleasant afternoon was had by all who took part and the weather held up well. A big thanks to all who strolled on the day and who sponsored those who took part. A special word of appreciation to Pauline and Bill who once again provided the gazebo and hot drinks and refreshments as they have done for many years.
