Caring Together’s Men’ s Group recently went to the Fisherman Wife in Headingley for a meal. A few of us ordered the jumbo option. Big mistake. When the smaller plates came out and were large we wondered what was in store for us. Well, lets just say that some of the group were eating fish suppers for the next two nights.

Many thanks to Mark Howard who recently attended our Memoirs Group. Mark kindly volunteers his time for the Group once or twice a year, and has done for about 3 years now. He has proved a lovely addition to our yearly reminiscing schedule for the Memoirs Group offering a fun interactive take on sporting memories.

The One Stop Shop on Woodhouse Street has been collecting food items to be distributed to local residents that are in need. It contacted Caring Together to help with distributing this. On this occasion Caring Together agreed with the shop to donate this months proceeds to the local food bank at St Marks Church. Many thanks to Jeeta and Atash and all of the Bhadal family for this gesture and we hope top continue this relationship in the future.
