A warm welcome at St Mark’s

Caring Together staff and members were welcomed by the Gateway church at St Mark’s in Woodhouse for their Carol Concert last Sunday. It was a great start to the Christmas celebrations. In what was a relaxed and convivial atmosphere, we were entertained by the wonderful church choir and band, and later were treated to ‘turkey baps’. Many thanks and best wishes from all here at Caring Together and we hope to continue our close relationship in the year ahead.

Leeds Lions Christmas Party

Caring Together were recently invited once again to the annual Leeds Lions Christmas Party, held at St Chads Parish Centre in Headingley. It was, as always,  a great evening with plenty of food and refreshment provided. The Lord Mayor was present  and there was music and entertainment galore. Many thanks to Leeds Lions for the invite and our very best to them for the year ahead.

A Christmas Cheer for Notre Dame

A large group of Caring Together members attended the Notre Dame Christmas Party last week. It was a great afternoon and everyone was treated to an array of staff and student talent and wonderfully fed and watered. We get invited to this every year and it never fails to impress. A big thanks to the staff and students for organising this and the very best to them for Christmas and the New Year from all at Caring Together.

Distribution central at Caring Together

Many thanks to our volunteers, Joyce, Pat and David and to Valerie and Lisa for spending a morning and the best part of an afternoon preparing Christmas Hampers to be distributed to our older members and also stuffing envelopes with our latest newsletters full of everything we plan to do over the next 3 months. We couldn’t do what we do without you.
