Dear all,
The below poem is shared by Maureen Kershaw, which she says is one of the few poems she remembers of Spike Milligan’s.
I must go down to the sea again,
to the lonely sea and the sky;
I left my shoes and socks there –
I wonder if they’re dry?
to the lonely sea and the sky;
I left my shoes and socks there –
I wonder if they’re dry?
Thank you Maureen, I love this.
