Two invitations from Leeds Playhouse for you to contribute to a 50 years of the Playhouse exhibition and a sounds of Leeds project. They both have deadlines for contributions this week: Details from Leeds Playhouse below:
We’re excited to be working with illustrator Cait McEniff on our exhibition to celebrate 50 years of Leeds Playhouse and we want your help. We’d love you to share your memories of the Playhouse – shows you’ve loved, a project you took part in, or anything else. Please send a short email (just a few lines is great) or photos by 1 April. These will be used by Cait as inspiration to create the exhibition. We can’t wait to hear from you. |

Creative ActivityThis month, we have an audio invitation for you. Chris Hughes is a brilliant Leeds based DJ and sound designer. His work has involved curating for various spaces, and more recently care home environments. Throughout lockdown he’s been working on an immersive audio installation project called Outside:In to improve well-being and invoke feelings of relaxation. So, for this activity, we want to know the sound of Leeds. What can you hear around you? Chris would like you to send in a short audio clip to pull together and create a soundscape of Leeds. You can record the sounds outside your home, the birds in your local park, or even a recording of where you’re sitting right now. Send us your recording by 2 April and Chris will create a beautiful soundscape to share with you in the next newsletter. Send your sound clip: engagement@leedsplayhouse.org.uk |
