Caring Together held it’s Springtime Tea Fundraiser last Thursday at Little London Community Centre. This was fantastically successful with over 90 people attending the afternoon event. Everything on the day from the prizes on offer for the raffle and the quiz and the buns and cakes were made and donated by our own volunteers as well as well as massive contributions by the staff and residents of Delph View as well as the local community PCSO’s. Cups, plates and cake stands were donated for our use by Headingley Methodist Church and music was provided by the Irish Arts Foundation. Many thanks to all of the staff and volunteers who arranged this and volunteered on the day and to those who contributed, entertained and attended. A great deal of hard work goes into these events but it is always worth it in the end.
